A natural water-based sauna wood wax designed to protect untreated or cleaned interior wooden surfaces while preserving the natural appearance of the wood. The breathable finish helps repel water and dirt and is suitable for sauna benches, walls, ceilings, doors and other interior wood surfaces.
Natural protection for interior sauna wood
SaunaLife Sauna Wood Wax is a natural water-based treatment designed for untreated or cleaned wooden surfaces inside saunas and other interior spaces. It forms a water- and dirt-repellent surface while allowing the wood to breathe.
The odorless wax can be applied with a brush or sponge to sauna benches, platforms, walls, ceilings, window frames, doors and moldings. One layer provides approximately 9–13 m² of coverage per liter, with a stated drying time of approximately 0.5 to 2 hours.
It is intended to preserve the natural tone of sauna wood rather than conceal it. SaunaLife states that the product is not suitable for previously oiled surfaces unless the existing oil has completely worn away.
